Optiphen Plus (Paraben & Formaldehyde Free)

Optiphen® is a one-of-a-kind liquid preservative that is free of both parabens and formaldehyde. Made up of Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol, this preservative effectively prevents microbial growth while also leaving a smooth finish on the final product. It can be easily incorporated into a formulation at or below 60 degrees C (140 degrees F), either before or after the emulsification process.

Recommended use levels: 0.5 - 1.5%
